What is the meaning of MahaDBT?
Maharashtra Direct Benefit Transfer (MahaDBT) is an online portal regulated by the Maharashtra government to transfer a large number of benefits and subsidies of several social welfare schemes including pension, e-scholarships, disaster, directly into the bank account of the user.
Why Aadhaar card number is required for DBT?
Since Aadhaar number is considered to be a unique id of individual and it’s easily linked with authorized bank account. So, it’s surely makes the things related to the fund transfer more secure.
How long OTP sent to my registered mobile number valid for?
OTP sent to Aadhaar linked mobile number is valid only for 30 minutes i.e. half an hour.
Do I need Aadhaar card to get DBT benefits?
Yes, Aadhaar is mandatory for the DBT because, using it beneficial fund will be directly transferred to the Aadhaar linked bank account.
Can I change/register my mobile number via online mode?

The maximum file size need for uploading documents is 250 KB.
